I'm Back

Haven't posted anything in a while, but I've finished three new pieces for the CCEE promo cards so I thought I'd put them up.

the more important message of this post is to convert the world to Dr. Tran. I saw this animation when I was in LA and it's one of the funniest things I've seen in a while. So either go to the Lone Sausage website or follow the link to DR. TRAN!!!!!

The first ones a sketch I did that will eventually be inked and coloured.
The other one may be a character design for the animation. (haven't decided yet.)

Oh my god!! I've doubled my postings

So here are 2 more pages. Ones the first character sheet for the animation I'm working on. No I don't have a name for the little bald dude yet. Feel free to make suggestions. (Which I'll probably ignore, but go nuts.) The other page is just some of my random sketches. Critiquing my work is recommended, just keep in mind a lot of these are just idea and practice sketches, so don't nitpick unless it's obviously a finished piece. Back to the sketch book. Remember to make comments and harass me if I'm not posting some what regularly even if I don't know you.

Alright I'm a very bad man. Only 2 postings and I completely flake. In my defense I've been moderately busy with other things, not much of a defense but what are you going to do. I've gotten more motivation to be drawing again though. None of the new stuff has been scanned in just yet, but I've started working on a little compilation of old sketches and drawings so I'll put those up right now and the rest a little later. I'm talking with the writer of Chrono Mechanics about collaborating on a book soon so I've got to get my drawing skills way up. As well as I'm working on my first short animation. I'll put up some of the character design sheets up shortly.

Older Stuff

Here are a couple of my older illustrations. Both have been used for prototypes of my clothing line. "Counterfeit Clothing" One day I'll get it up and running once I learn more about business and build the capital to invest in it. (No reason to do something half assed.)

Here we begin

So I've set up this blog mainly because I can't seem to find the time to get my web site designed. I'll probably use this space to ramble on about what ever is going on at the moment as well as display some of my work.
Mostly my illustrations.
I've gotten jittery lately to start taking my drawing seriously after being around great artists like Alberto Ruiz, Humberto Ramos, Art Thibert among others at the Calgary Comic & Entertainment Expo.
(In which I am one of the organizers, and damn did it go beyond expectations.)
Hopefully I'll have something accomplished before next years show so I can be an exhibitor as well as an organizer.
So feel free to harass me if I'm not posting new picts every few days.(Even if they're crap at least I'm practicing.)
